英検【２級】二次試験（面接）用の模擬問題〈２〉
目次
1.まずは「黙読」をする
試験が始まると、面接官から
“Let’s begin the test. Here is your card.”
「では試験を始めましょう。カードをどうぞ。」
と言われて、カードを渡されます。
Third Place
These days, more and more students are using public places to study. Some of them go to cafes while others go to commnity centers. These are called “Third Place.” “First Place” is the home, and “Second Place” is the workplace or school. Changing the place to study can give those students fresher mind and more concentraion. As a result, they can do their homework or study more effectively.

そして
“Please read the passage siliently for twenty seconds.”
「パッセージを20秒間黙読してください。」
と言われます。
落ち着いて、「二十秒間」黙読しましょう。
2. 次に「音読」をする
20秒の黙読が終わると
“Now, please read it aloud.”
と音読をするように促されます。
音読のポイント
- 「タイトル」を忘れない
- ゆっくり、はっきりと読む
- ピリオドはひと呼吸のサイン
- 文の意味と、文の抑揚・イントネーションは連動する
- 文のまとまりを意識して読む
- 細かい間違いを気にしすぎない。
以上をおさえながら音読しましょう。
音読が終わると、
“Now, I will ask you five questions.”
「今から５つの質問をします。」
と言われて、いよいよQ&Aに入ります。
3. Q&A「第一問」
“Question 1.
Please look at the passage. Why can students do their homework or study more effectively ? “
「パッセージを見てください。学生は、なぜ宿題や勉強をより効率よくできるのですか？」
第1問は必ずパッセージの中に答えがあります。なので、ここは確実に点を取りましょう。

“Why~?”（どうやって）で聞かれているので、”Because”を使って答えましょう。

続いて第二問目です。

面接官が、
“Please turn over the card.”
と言ってきますので面接カードを伏せましょう。
“No.3.
Some people say that children with a single parent are not supported enough to have a good education. What do you think about that?”
「ひとり親家庭のこどもは、教育に関する支援が十分に受けられないケースがあります。あなたはこれについてどう思いますか？」
【解答例】
“Yes.
Children of single parents are often in a difficult situation. Also, they cannot rely on their parent because he/she is busy. So, I think those children should be given more support.
“No.
I think schools and teachers are giving them equal opportunities to those children. At schools, students are all treated equally enough regardless of their parents’ situation.”
5.Q&A「第四問」
最後に第四問です。
“Today in Japan, Internet Cafes, the place people can stay for long hours, are very popular. Do you think the number of these places will increase in the future? ”
「最近の日本では、長時間滞在できる場所である〈ネットカフェ〉がとても普及しています。あなたは、こういった場所が今後増えると思いますか」
【解答例】
“Yes.
Nowadays, people like to stay at places other than homes or offices. It is good for them to have a third option to stay and relax.”
“No.
I think there are already many places such as Internet Cafes in Japan. People are now enjoying staying at different places like home, office or cafes. So, I don’t think it will increase.”
7. 「試験の終了」
“That’s the end of the test. Can I have a card?”
「これで試験は終わりです。カードを返してもらえますか？」
あなたは、
“Here it is.” と言ってカードを返します。
面接官が、
“Have a nice day.” と言ってくれると思うので
あなたも
“Thank you. You too.” と言って教室を出ましょう。
